Short Cake, Huckle Berry Pie, V-l-c
t-o-r-y!"
The young men's race was won by
John Cornutt, of Riddle. The boys'
race by one of the band boys from
Roseburg. The little girls' race by
Miss IMckett, of Canyonvllle. and the
horse race by George Elllff's son, of
Glendale.
Altogether. Canyonvllle gave every
one a good day, and wo all returned
home In the evening twilight, well
burned with the sun's rays, well sup
plied with pluk lemonade and Ice
cream and hoping Cunyouville will
give another celebration some day.
