After today, under a parcels post agree ment with Great ttrttain, parcels up to a weight limit of eleveu pounds may be mailed to England, Scotluud uud Irelund. Postmaster General Meyer believes that this will mater ially increase the number of parcelB sent to the United Kingdom and from the countries composing it to the United States. At the present time, a package weighing In excese of lour pounds six ounces cannot be sent in the mails to the United King dom. There are now thirty-three foreign countries with which we have par cels post connections; with nine, the weight limit is four pounds six ounces, and with twenty-four it Is eleveu pounds. It is the intention to make the maximum weight eleven pounds lu all countries. Owing to the objections of the express companies, however, this weight limit will not apply to points within the United States.
