celling paper he swallowed several
tacks. He is now seriously 111 and his
doctor says he may have to go to the
hospital at Portland and have an oper
ation porformed to remove the tacks.

last question as to wby the Editor
always publishes the age of elderly
folks when married and not the young,
it is probably because his mind Is some
thing like mine. I consider that when
a young lady of 18 years, marries a man
of 93 and lives with him, cares for and
loves him, It is an honor, and I think
that the boys should not loose any time
in hunting all the tin cans in the coun
try, and pounding them as small as ten
cent pieces in honoring the couple.
Then I think that the State should
grant a pension to this young lady for
life. I think this would be far more
honorable for the state than to make
an appropriation to build a bridge
cross the moon at the foot of the Blue
mountains, 40 miles from nowhere.

you and I have a double wedding, and
you take your lady of 18 and I take
mine of 93 and we go to Europe on our
wedding tour, and on our return the
editor of The Rbvikw, or any other
editor, does not extend their congratu
lations to us, the type will fly thicker
than blackbirds in a cornfield, because
they will have two to curry instead of
