The Douglas County Creamery has Installed a new ice-cream freezer which will greatly increase the effi ciency of their modern plant. Lane, one of Douglas county's pio neers who passed away Tuesday, will be held tomorrow morning from the Catholic church, at 9 o'clock. Father Lane, of Albany, and Father Walsh, of Roseburg, officiating. Interment will take place In the Masonic ceme tery. Mrs. Lane is survived by her husband, Simon 13. Lane and two children. Mrs. Evn Waite and F. B. Lane. The body will lie in state at the undertaking parlors this ev ening, and friends will be welcome to view the body there. The casket will not be opened at the church. He had gone only a short distance when a couple of women happened to drive by and noticed that the reins were dragging. They stopped their team and found the aged man was dead.
