Ten con gressmen of the House naval atralrs committee, who are expected to ar rive in Portland March 25 and to be in Oregon for three days, will be ex tensively entertained, according to planh of the Portland and Astoria chambers of commerce. Six women are accompanying 'the delegation, which will tour the Pacific'coast. The party now is jfi Southern California. One feature of the Oregon visit will be an excursion to Astoria, to see the. site of the proposed aviation and submarine station in the lower Co lumbia, recommended by the Holm' commission. A public dinner in Port land and a trip over the Columbia river highway also are planned. IE (The Associated Press.) PORTLAND, March 14. Reports from members of the "flying squad ron" of the Oregon state chamber of commerce, now touring the state to gather in new members, indicate that several hundred memberB have been obtained and' many defunct commer cial organizations being revived and affiliated with the Oregon cnamuer. The vlndl cation of the moral tone of Btudent life at the University of Oregon was so complete, at the trial of James Fullerton, editor convicted of libel here recently, that the university will distribute 5,000 copleB of the report of the trial, throughout the state. They were to be placed in the mail Monday, March 17. Fullerton now Is In the county jail, under sentence of one year.
