Officials of the Oregon soldiers home are expecting, one day this week, a visit from the commandant of the national BohMers' home at Marlon, Ind'., and also Col. Barry, commandant of the national soldiers' home at,Sawtelle, Calif. These gen tlemen are on their way north at the present time, having already left Los Angeles on the trip up coast. David Comstm-k Seriously Hurt, David Comstock. who had the mis- fortuno to have his collar bone brok en in a runaway accident last Satur day, Is slowly Improving, although It will bo some time before he is fully rocovered, and the injuries are very sovero. Miller Is attending him. .Mr. Comstock had been in the mountains hunting, and owing to the rainy weather decided to come home for a few lhys. when tne accident occurred, on a steep pitch whero the horse was unable to hold the buggy and began to kick nnd then ran away, overturning tho buggy with tho unfortunate result mentioned above.
