They left for their home in Garden Valley late this afternoon. Miss Ehna Payton, of this city who has been visitingi with friends in Portland for the past week will re turn to this city tomorrow. v Today was ground hog day and if there is any truth in the old super stition that should the ground hog see his shadow on this eventful day there would be six weeks more of winter, we are doomed to the various moods of the elements for some days to come.
