The contest occurred at one of his favorite fishing spots and was waged with the large and plucky salmon trout, IS of which were landed on the bank In a per iod of about three hours. The fish were all over 12 inches In length and made a total weight of 70 pounds. Mr. Lllburn, who accom panied Mr. Perkins on the trip also caught a good string of the gamey trout.
