AN IDEAL CONVENTION CITY Next year Roseburg Ib going to entertain the grand lodge of Odd fellows, one of the strongest and Ijest attended fraternal organic lions In the mite. If It Is able to entertain the large number of dele Kates and visitors who are attracted on that occasion, why would it not he a good plan to secure more of these assemblages and make this known over the state as the Conven tlon City. It Is centrally located as far as convenience for a great part of the delegates are concerned, and lias adequate accommodations to take care of all delegates and visit ors. The securing of the annual meeting places of fraternal bodies and grand army reunions Is not the "work of a day or two before the next ssomhly, but requires planning and preparation months before. Tfaey are a good thing for the cities which receive them. Look at tho advertis ing; that McMInnvllle Is getting from the meeting there today of the G. A. It and the Woman's Relief Corps, and kindred military organizations. While It Ib rather premature to apeak of the I. O. O.
