Douglas paid Mr. Jarvls tilt. which was the amount or tho check, together with the costs of the arrest which amounted to something over $75. Inasmuch as Mr Douglas signed his own name to the check, the evidence failed to sub stantiate a charge of forgery as set out In tho complaint on which the accused was nrrested.
