Hansel, convicted Saturday of the murder of the late Judge Taylor, was (his morning sentenced by Judge Campbell to hang by the neck until dead at the state penitentiary at Sa lem Friday, November 14. Hansel collapsed completely when sentence I was pronounced, and fell from the chair In which he was sitting. He was carried from the court room., ' placed in an automobile and taken back to jail. 1 The crime for which Hansel was' sentenced was committed on Septem-j her 14. when he sihot and Instat.tlv killed Judge Taylor at the S., P. & S. depot in this city.
