Dur ing the few months in Kose burg this new machine has gono Into over a score of homes and proven that is can do the rubbing for a family of four In less than thirty min utes, including the time need ed to put the clothes in and out of the tub. This is just what the ma chine does at each washing It takes five large pieces, as a sheet, at one time, or an equiv alent amount of other clothes. With ISO strokes of the handle 200 sometimes, the washing is finished and finished well, this number or .strokes enn be made in a minute and a hall' to two minutes, so easy does the han dle turn. The reason the mnchlne does this Is partially due to a new principle, which exerts a pow erful forco in cleaning clothes. Tho machine is very simple and convenient. Thetub can be taken from the stand and water iteated in it. Tho stand and the tub can be placed to gether and the whole machine can be pushed under a kitchen table. B. W.
