Mr. and Mrs. Alderson are erecting
a beautiful bungalow cottage on the
ranch which they recently purchased
from Henry Bushnell.
Dr. K. V. Hoover paid a profession
al visit to the home of C. A. Prock
whose wife was very sick.
Mrs. Harriet Eres and daughter,
Mlsa Laura Collar leave here the lat
ter part of the week for a vncation
trln to "beautiful Bandon by the Bea."
They anticipate a most enjoyable
time.
Mrs. Will Short, who is chairman
of the reunion association states that
no definite date has been set for the
nnnual encampment, which is to be
held this year. Watch for the date
later.

Married July 10th. 1910, at high
noon, at the beautiful home of Mr.
and Mrs. W. O. Friend, their eldest
daughter, Miss Winnie to Mr. Henry
Croucher. Rev. M. W. Hampton, a
close personal friend "to all parlies
concerned, nronounced the magic
words which made this popular
vanne counle man and wife. At the
conclusion of the ceremony congratu
lations and well wishes were extend
ed to the happy couple after which
they and only a few relatives nnd
intimate friends of the bride and
groom repaired to the dining room
- where a most sumptous dinner, was
served. Later in the evening, a
charivari crowd composed of the
friends of the young couple paid
them a friendly visit to the tune of
many cow bells, tin pans and such
Intensils as produced a big noise.
When Henry thought they had made
all the noise they could he called
them In and served some good things
to all present. Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Croucher are deservedly popular
voting- people of this community
where they number their friends
Notice is hereby given that the
undersigned has Impounded at S. T.
Smith's livery stnbleB in Roseburg,
Oregon, 2 bay horaes, each about
16 hands high. One Is about 12
years of age and weighs about 1,
300 pounds, has knots on knees and
heart-shaped brand on right hip.
The other is about 9 years of age,
weight 1.400 pounds, and has white
star on forehead.
If these horBes are not redeemed
by Wednesday, July 20, they will be
sold at auction.
