At ft special meeting of the mem bers of the Kagles Lodge No. 1197 last night three new members were Initiated and seven were elected to membership. They next meeting wilt be held In their new hall. In the Masonic building, which has been re modeled lately. G. J. Loom Is and W. H. Axtell, who have been In this city for several days left this afternoon for Portland, where they will remain for a short time before continuing their trip to their home in Blue Rapids, Kansas. These gentlemen have been looking over the farming lands In the state and are so well pleased with Douglas county that Mr. Loom Is says he is sure to return UiIh fall.
