Page 6 Braves Finish Basketball Season The Varsity game on February 3, 1976, proved to be a good one for the guys during the first half. After the second quarter, the score was Che- mawa-25, Gladstone-32. During that half, Chemawa was ahead a couple of times on the scoreboard, but started to fall behind in the second half. The ending score, Chemawa-47, Gladstone-71. Mike Samuels was the high-scorer for the night with 15 points. Robin Matt followed with 13. Arkie Andrews had 7, Gary Brown 6, Billy Tonasket 4, and Mooney Frank, 2. John St. Pierre was high scorer for the J. V.s with 18 points. Mike Semoe scored 5. Both Tilden McDonald and Erdmin Simmonds ended the game with 4 points each. Mark Brown and Phil Campbell had 2, and Tiny Burris 1. The score was Chemawa-36, Gladstone-70. On February 10, 1976, the Chemawa Braves played the LaSalle Falcons. During the varsity game, the half time score was 23 to 42, Falcons favor.
