5 Eskimo Mr. and Mrs. Hibbs at work in the store with Jennie Beck and Hannah Alexie. O lypics S et The Agriculture Club elected a new secretary and vice-president. The new officers are secretary Angeline Ward and vice-president: Pat Andrew. Roberta Blande is the reporter for the Ag. Club. She takes notes and also takes pictures of what the Ag. Club is doing. The Ag. Club has 6 calves and will have a total of 15 when they receive them all. They started to raise them on Monday and will sell them at the end of the year. The Free Barn Dance was held on Dec. 18. Also the Ag. Club will paint the barn as soon as they get the paint. The Ag. members will paint the barn as soon as the paint is bought. Everyone is welcome to help. Further notice will be given when the paint is here. The Ag. Club has turkeys and geese that are being sold at the Ag. about their work. In order for Mrs. Building. The committee members for the club are Billy Bester, Chairman; Adam Leavett, A ssistant Chairman and Jerry Agiak, Thomas Brower and Lloyd Vincent, alternates. Marlene Ipalook is Secretary and Daisy Bod fish alternate. Mrs. Grape, who also works with N.I.C.E., is the advisor. Interested students can attend the group meetings on Tuesdays and on Thursdays after school in Mrs Grape’s room. Store Owners Busy in Christnus Mr. and Mrs. Hibbs are pretty busy most of the day. They run the Chem- awa Store, Post Office and try to keep everything well in order. They have very little time for housework! The girls that work at the store have to be trustworthy and serious W aitresses Set and Cooks B an quets th is Year The waitresses and cooks will be giving the dorms banquets again this year. The first banquet was for McBride Hall. The others will be determined later on in the year. McBride H alls’ banquet was held on Dec. 15, 1971. Mr. Douglas said that the reason why they give the dorms banquets, “ Is to reward our students for jobs well done, (basketball, football, wrestling, details, for all their co operation. As well as the training for the cooks and w aitresses.)” The w aitresses, have increased. The club now consists of 52 members. The w aitresses have given approx imately 12 banquets this year so far. The club went on another trip to Portland to a movie on Dec. 17. They have already completed a trip to Portland on Nov. 5. The whole club had a steak dinner and movie right afterwards. Mr. Douglas says he is still very proud of his w aitresses and cooks. He says, “ It’s because they always do a marvelous job.” Ag Club Elects
