3 THE CHEMAWA AMERICAN Students Use N ew Study Center STUDENTS GET OFFICE EXP. Students have been getting some good office experience while assist ing in the principal’s office. Working faithfully on a half day basis, is Anna Kompkoff. Patricia Standifer and Betty Sage were al so working there until transferred m other arehs. Study hall girls that work on an hour basis during the morning study hall are: Audrey Natkong, Lucy Hofseth, Evelyn McLaughlin, and Carol Ann Charlie. These girls help with attendance, answer the telephone, make an nouncements, take messages, and run errands. I Mrs. Elsie Holman, secretary of Mr. Sorensen, says that all the girls are to be commended for the fine way that they perform their duties. One of the exciting changes that has taken place OH campus this year, has been the remodeling of the Academic II Building to make a new and modern study center? Partitions were torn out between the three classrooms at the rear to make one large room.
