JUNIORS The Junior class organized last fall with Don Rambeau, president; Janice Rambeau, vice-president; and Georgianna Young, secretary-treasurer. Mr. Noel and Miss Henry were elected as advisers. in November, during Armis tice week, we gave a patriotic program with a veteran of World War II as guest speaker. A number of World War I songs were sung by the Junior girls and a few other individual num bers were given. The program was a success and enjoyed by all. During the year we sold pop at the basketball games and dances, and also Christmas cards to make money for the Junior-Senior Prom. In Jcnuary, Mrs. Cronk and Mr. Johannaber succeeded Mr. Noel and Miss Henry as spon sors of the class. The Junior-Senior Prom was given on the night of March 29. The Spanish-Mexican idea was carried out in the decorations. The gym looked beautiful with the decorations put up under the direction of Mrs. Cronk. Robert Placid, Don Rambeau, Joe Felsman and George Plum mer helped to uphold the school colors on the various athletic teams. 10 Gcorgo Plummer copped the honors as best student and Wil liam McDonald as best citizen. SENIOR DANCE A HUGE SUCCESS The final school dance of the year, given in honor of the seniors, was Friday evening, May 6, in the gym nasium. The decorations from the Junior-Senior Prom were still up, so the gym looked beautiful. The Wolfer orchestra from Salem furnished the music fo: the occasion. The irony ot it was that none of the Seniors were there due to engine trouble which resulted in their arriving on the cam pus about two hours after the dance was history. In spite of this incident, which saddened the seniors, every one reported a fine time.
