Commencement Events i he 1945 Commencement exercises were the fif tieth since the founding ofChemawa in 1885. This years’ class of 2k members, represented 18 tribes from 6 states. Many parents anti relatives, together with alumni and ex-students, were present. Follow ing the graduation program, there was a reception at Winona Hall. At supper the same evening the class had a special table for themselves and guests. The farewell dance was enjoyed in the gym, to eno the festivities.
