m ost ex citin g and in terestin g gam es ever played here
by a score of 5 to 4.

b u rg by tru c k to play Pacific College. T h e team has
been w’o rk in g hard this week to overcom e th e nervous­
ness w hich was so ap p aren t in the O regon gam es
last w eek.
M r. Bent has notified us th a t W illam ette U niversity
has w ritten him for a couple of baseball gam es. W e
w onder how they get th a t. T h ey m ust have a w in ­
n in g team , otherw ise we c o u ld n ’t buy one. Too bad
they d o n ’t w ant a track m eet. A t any rate the dates
are set.
