DOMESTIC SCIENCE NOTES Beulah White returned to her class on Monday, after an absence of some days in the hospital. She is a quick student and her absence was felt. Attractive and well-made curtains have been placed on the domestic science dining-room windows, which adds greatly to appearances as w ell as making it seem more home-like. The study of dietetics is being emphasized at the domestic science department this week by the seniors. They are endeavoring to ascertain the exact food re quirements of an individual brain when attending high school. The Junior class entertained Miss White, their teacher, Wednesday evening last at a dinner in the domestic science, covers being laid for twenty-five. A most delicious dinner was served and a delightful evening passed generally. Miss White is very popu lar with her students, who always compliment her on the recurrence of her birthday anniversary. She was presented with an enormous Kewpie doll handsomely attired in red and white satin. zo
