Keep your eyes in good condition by keeping your fingers out of your eyes. You should have au individual wash basin and towel, and allow no one else to use thempr your hand kerchief. Have your eyes frequently examined by an Eye Specialist employed by the United States Govern ment. I Because your eyes are in good condition now isino guarantee that you may never have eye trouble. Carelessness or indifference on your part may be the càuse tìf your getting an infection of the eyes before the sun sets this evening. (1) EYE CONDITION AND TREATMENT You havé à simple Conjunctivitis, which if properly treated will be entirely cured in a very short time; Put a drop of black eye water in the eye every day. Have your eyes examined frequently by an Eye Specialist employed by the United States Government. (2) EYE CONDITION AND TREATMENT You have an infectious disease of the eyelids, which is now in its mildest state, but it Will grow constantly worse until it becomes a danger to your eyesight if it is not treated. If it is properly treat ed for a few months it may be entirely cured. Put a drop of the black eye water in each eye every other morning. On Mondày ànd Thursday evenings place a small amount of the green ointment beneath the upper lids of each eye and gently massage the lids for a couple of minutes. This should be used 3ust before retiring at night. On other evenings use the yellow ointment in each eye in thè same Way. You should never use the handkerchief of another and should have your individual wash basin and towel, and allow no one else to use them. Have your eyes frequently examined by an Eye Specialist employed by the United States Govern ment. (8) EYE CONDITION AND TREATMENT You have an infectious disease of the eye lid, which is rather well advanced, and if un-treated will rapidly become a menace to your vision and, may in a reason ably short time be a cause of blindness in one or both eyes- Put a drop of the black eye water in each eye every other morning. On Monday and Thursday evenings place a small amount of the green ointment beneath the upper lid of each eye and gently massage the lids for a couple of minutes. This should be used just before retiring at night. On other evenings use the yellow ointment in each eye in the same way. You should never use the hankerchief of another and should have your individual wash basin and towel, and allow no one else to use them. Have your eyes examined frequently by an Eye Specialist employed by the United States Government. (4) ■ EYE CONDITION AND TREATMENT You have an infectious disease of the eye lids, which is in a very advanced stage, and is at this time affecting the transparent part of the eye (called the Gornea); it is causing little ulcers to form ip the clear, transparent part of the eye, and when these ulcers heal there will be left at the ulcerated site a small white spot which is opaque and this will not allow the light to pass into the eye. Just a few of these spots will cause blindness in the eye. Treat ment will prevent blindness if followed constantly and, may after a long period of time, produce a cure of the lids, but you can hot hope for complete re covery of the diseased lids in less than a year or two, and many such cases as yours are never'completely cured even though treatment is kept up constantly. But, as long as the treatment is kept up your sight will be preserved, and that is, what really counts. Put a drop of the blaek eye water in each eye every other morning. There is furnished you one tube each of yellow ointment and of green ointment; they are used at night, one kind one night and the other kind the next, night, alternately. Place a small amount of the ointment beneath the upper lid of each eye, and gently massage the lids for a couple of minutes. This should be used just before retiring at night. You should have your individual wash basin and towel and never ¡allow any one else to use them or your handkerchief, and neither should you use any one’s else than your own. Prevent the disease from spreading and save your eye sight by,following these instructions. Have your eyes examined frequently by an Eye Specialist employed by the United States Government.
