Mr. B’s Qualifications:
T h e en g in eerin g d ep artm en t has an 8-horse pow er
boiler for h eatin g th e oil so th a t it can be pum ped to
th e new concrete oid ta n k . T h e boiler has alm ost
paid for itself alread y , because after 48 hours the rail
road com pany charg es $5.00 per day for car d em u r
rage, and w ith the new boiler th e car can be pum ped
em pty of oil in less than eight hours.
