In the Mountain Gallery upstairs is the Booth Kelly Lumber Co. exhibit of Springfield history, especially the early 1900‘s when that company was so influential in the development of that city. University of Oregon Museum of Art, campus. 27 lithographs including non-traditional portrayals of Native Americans plus several works of flowers, animals, and the American woman by Fritz Scholder, through Nov. 13. Also works by 11 award-win ning photographers of the English landscape. In the Photography Gallery, beginning Nov. 3, color por traits by Eugene photographer Paul Neeval will be featured. Neeval will also give a lecture on his work at 7:30 pm, Nov. 19, Lawrence Hall, Room 107. Museum hours noon-5 pm, Wed.-Sun. except holidays. University of Oregon Museum of Natural History, campus, has a fine display of fossils, minerals, animals, Native American art and artifacts, and current archaeological findings in Oregon. Warehouse Artists Studio, 385 Lawrence St. During the month of November, Kathy Caprairo will reveal some works in watercolor and mixed media which should prove to be exciting.
