YULETIDE GREETINGS — to all American citizens by adoption, who have entered the American temple of citizenship in a spirit of love, willing to defend its sacred institutions of tolerance, justice and equality, so that these may never suffer destruction at the hands of enemies from within or without. YULETIDE GREETINGS — to all those who are standing on the threshold of American citizenship, who in lieu . of the privilege are promising, with God as their witness, to purge their hearts of all foreign attachments and to give to America their undivided patriotic devotion.
