women-owned businesses veterans host shows work in library
Sixteen women-owned
businesses in Sisters will
gather on Saturday, May 26 to
showcase their products and
services to the Sisters com-
munity. The event is open to
the public.
“This will be a great oppor-
tunity for our community to
come together to shop, and
meet some new people,” said
event organizer Corrie Lake,
of Legacy Realty in Sisters.
The event will be held at
the Legacy Realty office, at
282 S. Cedar St. (in the new
buildings behind Hop n Brew)
from 3 to 6 p.m. There will be
shopping opportunities and
raffle drawings for prizes and
gift certificates.
Lake explained the genesis
of the event.
“Here at Legacy Realty
Debbie Brown and I feel that
it’s really important to con-
nect with our community,”
she said. “We both realized
that our office space could
be utilized for small events
so I approach my good friend
Stacy Ransom who runs a
very successful Mary Kay
business here in Sisters to see
if she wanted to use our space
for a Mary Kay event and the
light bulb went on!”
Ransom connected Lake
with Angela Bobst who sells
DoTERRA essential oils
and also created a Facebook

and we brainstormed a little
and we decided it would be
fun to see if anyone else would
want to get together to show-

that we could make it a little
more exciting,” Lake said.
