Solstice Labyrinth Walk Thursday, December 21 at 4:45 p.m., all are invited to the Sisters Labyrinth for a meditation walk. Bring a candle in a jar, a stone (4-5"), warm clothes and headlamp if you have one. This is a time for refl ection and welcoming the return of the light. Instructions on walking the labyrinth will be given; Sisters Labyrinth is located in the Forest Service welcome area across from Les Schwab. Info: 541-420-3014. Book Corner December Sale The FOSL Book Corner is open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m. at the corner of Cedar & Main, and throughout December, all books are HALF OFF! Boy Scouts Recycle Trees Local Boy Scout troops will collect and recycle Christmas trees December 30-31 and January 7. A donation of at least $8 is requested; all funds go directly to troops for their activities and service projects, and to replace worn-out equipment. Trees should be cleaned of all decorations and placed by the street. Place checks (to “Boy Scouts of America” or as specifi ed by fl yers in your area) in a plastic bag and secure it to the tree. CPR and First Aid Class Sisters-Camp Sherman RFPD will offer the AHA “Heartsaver” CPR/AED module Wednesday, January 3 and the First Aid module Thursday, January 4 at the Sisters Fire Hall. The cost is $30 which includes a student workbook and completion card. Hunter’s Education Class Jazz Choir Holiday Grams Sisters High School Jazz Choir offers holiday grams that will all be delivered on Thursday, December 21. Furry Friends is Moving Furry Friends is moving to its new location at Sisters Art Works, 204 W. Adams Ave. #109, opening this Thursday, December 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The offi ce is on the main fl oor, to the right. Visiting dogs must be leashed at all times. Harmony Holiday Festival Harmony Farm Sanctuary presents a holiday festival on Friday, December 22 from 3 to 10 p.m. Celebrate the season and meet the nonprofi t’s 85 farm animals! The fun includes elf face-painting, Christmas song singalong, camp fi res, puppy-kissing booth and vegan dinner. Adults are $20, youth 7-17 are $10 (kids 6 and younger free). There will be a no-host bar plus live music in the barn. All proceeds go to the care of rescued animals at the farm, located at 16054 Perit Huntington Rd. Free Christmas Dinner On Christmas day, the Sisters-Camp Sherman RFPD and the Sisters-Camp Sherman Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Association present the annual Christmas dinner, free to the community.
