A thank-you event for wildland
fi refi ghters and other public
servants for their work during
the 2017 fi re season is set for
1:30 p.m. Sunday, October 22
at Village Green Park. The
community is invited to bring
thank-you notes and drawings

dessert. Volunteers will serve
donated ice cream and the
desserts, then distribute the
notes to fi re departments and
the public service agencies

Walk/Jog-a-thon Fundraiser

will be walking and jogging
