Explore birds, wildfl owers, and geology at various protected lands in small groups. Registration online is required, and each outing opens one month prior to its date. Parenting Seminar A seminar presenting ways to work through diffi cult moments of parenting and teaching will be held at Sisters Community Church Saturday, October 7, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Learn simple techniques using love and logic. Food Assistance at the Kiwanis Food Bank Your family may be eligible for food assistance at the Sisters Kiwanis Food Bank. Eligibility rules may be found online at fns.usda.gov/tefap or visit the food bank for complete information. The food bank is located at Main Avenue and Oak Street and is open once a week, every Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. You may also get cat and dog food weekly during those hours at no charge, provided by Furry Friends Foundation of Sisters. CPR and First Aid Class Stars Over Sisters Star Party Sisters-Camp Sherman RFPD will offer the AHA “Heartsaver” CPR/AED module Friday, September 15 and the First Aid module Saturday, September 16 at the Sisters Fire Hall. The cost is $30 which includes a student workbook and completion card.
