School Music Pop Shows A Family Fun Story Time for kids ages birth through 5 will be held at the Sisters Library at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 25. The Sisters Middle & High School choirs will perform a free vocal music pop show at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, and the middle and high school bands will perform an instrumental music pop show at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 25. Help for Veterans American Legion Post 86 Service Offi cer Tom Barrier will be at Ray’s Food Place the 2nd and 4th Saturday each month from 1 to 4 p.m. (back meeting room) to help veterans seeking assistance with the VA. Food Assistance at the Kiwanis Food Bank Your family may be eligible for food assistance at the Sisters Kiwanis Food Bank. Eligibility rules may be found online at fns.usda.gov/tefap or visit the food bank for complete information. The food bank is located at Main Avenue and Oak Street and is open once a week, every Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. You may also get cat and dog food during those hours at no charge, provided by Furry Friends Foundation of Sisters.
