View Invite at Awbrey Glen on Friday, April 28, and finished with a team score of 426. Summit took champion- ship honors with a team score of 304. Bend was runner-up at 355, and Mt. View took third, just one stroke back at 356. Remaining scores were: Redmond (380), Crook County (382), and La Pine (425). Andrew Mayes didn’t have a great start to his round, but lowered his score by two on the back nine. Mayes finished with a 100, the lowest score on the team. Peyton Myhre was just three strokes back at 103. Coach Bill Mitchell said, “Andrew is our most con- sistent player. He doesn’t try to swing too hard; he just swings smoothly. And Peyton is a pleasant surprise.
