STA Speaker Series On Thursday, March 23 at the Sisters Fire Hall, the Sisters Trails Alliance presents Matt Shinderman (OSU-Cascades Senior Instruction of Natural Resources), speaking on the sustainability of trails and recreation in our national forests. Opening on the City’s Budget Committee The City of Sisters is accepting applications for an “in-city” volunteer to serve on the budget committee for a term expiring July of 2020. The committee advises the City on matters pertaining to the budget and meets two to fi ve times in May. Applications are online at c.sisters.or.us or at Sisters City Hall, 520 E. Live Music Fundraiser Sponsor an Impoverished Child from Uganda Melanie Rose Dyer and Daniel Cooper will play original blues, folk-rock and Americana songs in a live-music event to raise funds for Circle of Friends in Sisters.
