Follow the Sisters Habitat Gingerbread Trail It’s that time of year to get into the holiday spirit, and one of the best ways to celebrate is by following the 10th Annual Sisters Habitat for Humanity Gingerbread Trail. Many businesses in Sisters Country will decorate and display a gingerbread house as a fundraiser for Sisters Habitat. Trail-walkers can vote for their favorite gingerbread house by placing money in the wooden bank at each shop. Everyone is encouraged to vote for more than one house. The creations will be on display begin- ning Friday, November 25, and running until January 2, 2017. Maps of the gingerbread trail are located at the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce, Sisters Habitat Thrift and ReStore, as well as all participating businesses. The gingerbread creation that receives the highest dollar amount will win the People’s Choice Award. All proceeds benefit the building program of Sisters Habitat for Humanity.
