Annual Pancake Breakfast
All are invited to a pancake
breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. at
the Camp Sherman Community
Hall on Sunday, July 3.
Funds raised will benefi t the
historic community hall. Enjoy
pancakes, ham, eggs, juice and
coffee. The cost for adults is $8;
kids ages 5 to 12 are $5; and
under age 5 are free! For more

City Seeks to Award Grants
The City of Sisters seeks to
award grants to nonprofi t
groups and other entities for
Sisters projects/programs that:
(1) provide assistance for food,
clothing or shelter; (2) provide
educational or recreational
opportunities for kids/seniors;
(3) support economic activity
in Sisters. Applications are at
www.ci.sisters.or.us or City
Hall. Submit with letter of
interest by Friday, July 8 to
Kathy Nelson (email knelson@

Election to City Council
In the Nov. 8 General Election
there will be three open
positions on the Sisters City
Council. To be eligible one
must be registered to vote in
Oregon and must have been
a resident of the City of Sisters
for 12 months preceding the
election. Materials are at City
Hall; candidates should pick up
by August 16 and must submit
perfected petitions by 5 p.m.
Tuesday, August 30 to qualify
for the ballot. Questions?

Senior Adult Scholarships
Sisters Park & Recreation
District has received grant
funding for a new senior
scholarship program. Any 60+
adult may apply or be referred
by a community member,

The Three Sisters Lions Club
annual fundraising sale will be

American Heart Association
