City Seeks to Award Grants The City of Sisters seeks to award grants to nonprofi t groups and other entities for Sisters projects/programs that: (1) provide assistance for food, clothing or shelter; (2) provide educational or recreational opportunities for kids/seniors; (3) support economic activity in Sisters. Election to City Council In the Nov. 8 General Election there will be three open positions on the Sisters City Council. To be eligible one must be registered to vote in Oregon and must have been a resident of the City of Sisters for 12 months preceding the election.
