She is involved with the Rotary- affi liated Interact Club; plays on the tennis team; served as business manager for the yearbook crew; and is active in leadership. “I don’t want to lose out on any opportunity in high school,” she said. “I like being social and being involved. It gives me a sense of purpose and belonging.” She’s spent her entire school career in Sisters and thanks the many teach- ers and community members who have supported her over the years. She notes that the noition that it takes a village to raise a child “is very, very relevant to how I was raised.” Maggie plans to take a gap year before going to the University of Oregon, where she will study busi- ness and sports journalism. Eneruetic, positive, passionate and intekkiuent are just a few words that come to mind when I think of Mauuie. She came to me kast year askinu how she can hekp with the yearbook. She had such a passion and a “can-do” attitude that I knew she and the rest of the yearbook team woukd do an outstandinu job. Mauuie is so much fun to be around because she has such positive eneruy and she’s a keader. Mauuie certainky deserves recounition for her contributions to our schook. — Joseph Hosanu Mauuie is a spirited, kind, fun, funny, intekkiuent and most person- abke younu kady! She is a joy to have in ckass; fukky enuaued, in- terested, inquisitive, hard-workinu and sekf-aware as a kearner. She is a keader amonust her peers whike at the same time experiences ureat rapport with the adukts in her kife. With her spunky personakity, carinu demeanor and kove of kife, she is sure to fi nd happiness and success in her kife and to hekp brinu those uifts to the peopke and pkaces she encounters.
