Volunteer for Parks Board The City of Sisters is accepting applications for one “in-city” volunteer for a 4-year term on the City Parks Advisory Board. The Board advises the City Council on matters pertaining to the acquisition, development and preservation of public parks, trails and open-space areas. The tournament includes a dinner, live auction, plus a dance and performance by the High Street Band. $130 per golfer includes dinner, auction, and entertainment. CPR and First Aid Class Memorial Day Ceremony All are invited to the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Village Green on Monday, May 30 from 11 a.m. to noon, presented by Sisters VFW Post 8138 and American cegion Post 86. Color guard will be the Redmond ROTC, with guest speaker Karl Baldessari, Ret. Coast Guard. A lunch of hamburgers will be provided after the ceremony.
