DLT Walk + Hike series
April-October, Deschutes Land
Trust volunteer naturalists lead
more than 120 free walks,
hikes, and bike rides. Explore
birds, wildfl owers, and geology
at various protected lands
in small groups. Registration

Ten Friends Fundraiser
The Ten Friends Spring
Celebration will be held Friday,
April 15 from 5 to 8:30 p.m.

music! Ten Friends is a Sisters
nonprofi t, supporting children
and young women seeking to

Mentoring Program Offers
Orientation Class
Central Oregon Partnerships
for Youth, a Deschutes Co.
Sheriff’s Offi ce program,
prepares volunteers to become
a mentor for a child with an
incarcerated parent. Volunteers
spend several hours a week
with their child for a minimum
1-year commitment. COPY
will offer a free, 6-hour training
class on Saturday, April 16.

Documentary on Teens
Sisters School District is hosting
a free screening of Paper
Tigers, a fi lm that captures the
pain, danger, and hopes of

Annual Tea & Fashion Show
St. Edward the Martyr Catholic
Church will hold its 16th
Annual Tea & Fashion Show
on Saturday, May 7, at 11 a.m.
at the church hall. Tables will
be decorated by individual

lunch, dessert, raffl e and
fashion show are included for

American Heart Association
“Heartsaver” First Aid and CPR
