A total appropriation of $43,985 will be asked for by Superintendent Moores. The superintendent gives as reasons for asking for the additional sum that the school will have a larger attendance, that additional teachers will be needed, a nlghtwatchman em ployed If possible, and that he wishes to maintain full terms of school which has not been possible heretofore on account of the shortage of funds. Other sums to be asked for will be $1785 for furniture and equipment, $2, 000 for teaching the adult blind, $3000 for repairs and improvement $1200 for laundry equipment and $11,000 for a heating plant. The state board makes the following comment on the report, which will be attached to the report when submitted to the legislature: "No (iuse Is more pathetic, more de manding of aid and sympathy than u-horo birth or accident has robbed a human being of tho blessings of Bight.
