The twelfth annual convention of the Oregon Federation of Women's Clubs convened In Portland, the first time in six year,, on Wednesday of this week, ami continued business meetings and social affairs until five o clock on Friday afternoon. The eleven federated clubs of Port land bent every effort to insure the success of tho convention, and when the gnvel fell ,, Wednesday morn ing, at the Women of Woodcraft hall, Tenth and Taylor streets, everything "as prepared to give the elub worc-n a comfortable, able nnd profitable meeting. While tho local committees looked after these things, the officers of the Federation diligently worked to pre pare an acceptable program In line with endeavors of the stnto clubs.
