All the labor crafts at McGIU struck today, as a result of the calling out of the mem bers of the Western Federation of Miners. A force of Greeks, armed with clubs, surrounded the Bmelter Just outside ot the fence, preventing a resumption ot work. Several shots were fired at McGIll today, but no one was Injured. The action of the federation of miners. In calling out the miners, resulted in the company attempting to resume with strike-breakers. Governor Oddle Is expected In Mc GIU some time this afternoon.
