Orange Reverses Action Salem grnnge on Saturday reversed Itself on the question of putting the state prlntor on a flat salary, finding It meant additional offices, and a big appropriation for a plant and for ma chinery nnd a site for a printing of fice. The grange had previously en dorsed the Harris plan, but, on inves tigation, finds it would be a great deal more expensive than the present plan, as advocated by Mr. Dunlwny, and adopted resolutions to thnt effect. The Harris plan Involves state ownership on the basis of Socialism, in the opin ion of tho grnngo committee, and hence is untenable, from the grange standpoint.
