The boys wrire full of sympathy, and felt very sorry all the way down, but when they arrived at their destination, the were un able, to see Mr. Carothers, as he had gone some place to buy a cow. If the cow don't kick or hook him, he will recover, and so will the boys. Salem Defeated Albany Playing on a slippery field against a team weighing 15 pounds more to the individual player, Salem high won a notable victory over the Albany boys on Willamette field Saturday by the tight score of 7 to 6. Both teams played a splendid game, and It was anybody's pie until the last minute of play. The Albany boys were good loautrs, and gave their vic tors a hearty cheer, like true sports, a3 they were leaving the field. U'-J I Just Said "Hello"!
