All Top Xotclieis The company that will be seen here with Harry Bulger In "The j Flirting Princess," Mort H. Singer's big musical comedy success, at the Grand opera horse, next week, om- i prises some of the best known men land women now appealing in this ! line of work, including Miss He'en I Darling, Eileen Sheridan, Billy Nept, I Herbert Heywood. Dale Fuller, Har- ry Dlckerson and others. ,le Mulsh Burled The funeral services over all that was mortal of .loe Walsh were held this morning and the tenement that held his brave, clean spirit here was laid away In City View cemetery there to wait the last great day. The floral tributes were beautiful, among them being one from his friends and fellow workers on the Journal, who owing to the demands of newspaper work, were unable to show the last token cf respect by surrounding his grave In a last farewell. Do You Like (iood Shows! The "Flirting Princess" which comes to The Grand Saturday night Is pronounced by the papers in Cali fornia where the beautiful musical comedy Is being presented, one of the best and most catchy that has been presented in recent years. The horse editor mentions this for the purpose of again saying to Salem people that if they want good shows, they must patronize them when they come. The "House Next Door", one of the finest things ever on a Salem stage, played to empty seats. This can occur a few times, and then the better companies will avoid Salem. The Journal does not pretend to dic tate to Salem people concerning at tending plays. That is their busi ness, but if they don't, there will be no good plays to attend. That Is a certainty. : '"til v;k If1 ! f ( I IT You'll Look Your Best in a Dress Chosen from this Assortment This assemblage of beautiful Dresses far surpasses X anything similar you've ever seen. Correc tions and' revisions returns from far outlying districts of the state today again altered the figures of the suf frage vote which now Is variously estimated as the majority of the "fors" over the "agfnsts'1 by from 2300 to 2500. There is no doubt that suffrage has won but all at tempts at exact figures are mere guess work- From a half score of places here today where tabulations are being kept of the returns came varying '3timates. Many of the precincts in the mountains districts have not re .ported, many of them have been re ported twice, and erroneously, so that It Is really impossible for the jubilant suffragettes to know just where they stand. That California women will vote, however, is not denied and there Is strong prob ability that, when the last vote is correctly counted, "the cause" will be shown with a majority of least 3000. jj jjc s(c s$c Jc sjc j( jc jjc sjc J sjc jjc (c jjc IWIDJY CORN REMOVER This is a guaran teed cure or money refunded.
