JOHN HOLMAN Tho Inst earthly remains of a highly esteemed pioneer woman were laid at rest Wednesday nttor noon upon tho arrival of the 3 o' clock trains. Tho funeral of the late Mrs. Jonnlo Wcek3 Holman, wife of John Holman esquire, man ngor of the Albany Iron Works, and well known Iron-master of this city, was held from her lato realdenco, on High street, In this city, and tho body waB given private lntormont at City Vlow cemetery. There was a1 large attendance of tho friends of the departed, who was a great fav orite socially and had many warm friends. All of her family living were prosont, and tho Episcopal burial service was read by Rov. Barr 0. Leo of St. Paul's church In a most lmpresslvo mannor. Tho musiu was by a quartet consisting of Messrs. Wonger and Ketchum, Mrs. Hinges and Miss Cornelius, who Bang beautifully "Lead, Klndlv Light," and Mrs. Hinges sang most lmpresslvoly "Ono Sweetly Solomn Thought," and at tho grave a spe cial favorlto of tho departed, "Only Remembered."
