Glover who murdered Frederick Niernon, near Auburn, Placer, county, June 11 1902, was hanged at the prison to day. Ho was pronounced dead In 14 minutes. Glover went bravely to the gallows, and, contrary to expecta tions, had nothing to say. Ho wrote a lew letter last night and slept well Glover was courting Nolrhoff's 14- year-old daughter, Agnos, and NIer hoff objected, and ordorod him to koep away. A few days later Nlerhoff was stand in his yard talking with Oscar a brother of the condomnod, whon W, II. shot him. Olovor claimed tho kill ing was n aflf-dofonse, as did Mis? Nlerhoff. Subsequently sho testified tho murder was cold-blooded, and hor llrst statement was made undor threat of death by the Glovers. Oscar was tried for complicity, and ncqulttod. Socialist Convention.
