He was seen to board the overland train that night at 11 o'clock. He Is thought to be iinanclally Involved, but tho firm of Talklngton, Bottger & Co., grain and commission brokers at 108 Court street for whom ho was lust employed decline to make any statement in regard to the matter, but none of their patrons have suffered any llnanclnl loss. Talk lngton, Bottger & Co. say that no cus tomer of theirs will lose a cent by Bardslcy's bookkeeping or disappear ance. No customer who has a receipt to show for money paid to Bardslcy. In tho namo of the firm, but will get tho full amount It calls for 100 cents on tho dollar.
