The rumor is current in this city of another rea sou for having the Wilbmvtte uiri versity moved to Portland, though the rumors are not very probable and are doubtless all assumed. The rumor has It that some of the heirs of the donor of tlie lands of tin- University sustained by some of the Portland members of the board of trustees, ar figuring lamely in thi-i-ciienie in order that they may con test the legality of tlie school hold ing the lands. These lauds are now very valuable and doubtless the heirs would like to own them, and if there was the least hoes ot ob taining them, might constrain tlittn to undertake such a scheme, home of the heirs now live in Portland, and possibly would like to bee the school there.
