He said that at a rough es timatolio thought that W 1,000 would rcplao tliobridgo with uood substan tial plursj the first pier to bo 20x00; second, 22x70, and tlio third 24x80. Tho second pier to bo CO feet high mid all to bo protected by a rock ballast, lie said that In his opinion the old bridge could bo replaced in position at the above sum and could he made much moro subntiuillal than before.
