'of Automobile Owners and Drivers of Jitneys to the Laws of the ' Road and the Rules Govern ing Their Operation. The laws of tbt rood, a dtflned by , the Legislature of Oregon, and by ordinance of tbe City of Klamath Falls are: 1 Vehicles proceeding la opposite direction shall pass to ths right, giv ing one-half ths road to each vehicle. S Vehicles proceeding in tbe same direction overtake and pass by passing to tbe left. 3 The overtaking vehicle shall maintain Its speed until clear of the overtaken vehicle, and for such dis tance thereafter as shall prevent dust and mud throwing on the overtaken vehicle. 4 Tho signal so to 'pass shall be given by one blast of tho born, bell or other signaling device. j 6 Should tbe overtaken vehicle then not give way, three such blasts shall bo given, and on failure to com ply tbe overtaking vehicle may at the anoxt suitable place safe to both vehl clos go by without further signal I 0 It shall be the duty of every ovenaxen venicie 10 turn 10 me ngni and give one-half tbe road. 7 Vehicles approaching aa Inter secting road, street or highway shall be under control, so aa to permit tbe jtehlclo on the right of tho vehicle ap- ' MMAM.I.IMM . iMl JMaa ,k .. iivHuuys iu uiat ,cim mg luionn tlon. 8 At all intersections, tbe vehicle approaching tho Intersection from tho right of any vehicle approaching tho Intersection shall have the right of way. 9 All vehicles approaching an In tersoctlon of a street, road or highway with the Intention of turning thereat, shall, In turning to the right, keep closely to the right, and la turning to the left shall run to aad beyond the center of the Intersection.
